Clean Truck Check Testing Requirements
Starting January 2025, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) requires 2013 and newer heavy-duty diesel vehicles to complete Clean Truck testing twice a year to avoid DMV registration holds and monetary penalties.
To meet CARB requirements, follow these simple steps:
Register your vehicle(s) at the Clean Truck Check Login Portal
Pay the registration fee.
Schedule a testing for your diesel truck(s) with a CARB credientialed technician.
Obtain a certificate of compliance as shown on the portal login.
